Guessing by your logo here, I assume you are a Sycamore's fan....I can't figure out why you are beating on Mallett so much. If I remember correctly, the ball did not go in to Mallet, he got the ball with probably 5-6 seconds to go and he tried to go baseline....the great ISU d at the end of the game cut him off and the ball went out. He was not trying to go up to shoot when he lost it, so how do you know he was not trying to drop a pass underneath or kick it out?

Your posts about Mallett make no sense and have not basis. Personally I was glad Mallett got the ball at that point, as he was our hottest player and best player for the tourney. The ball needed to be in his hands to win.

By putting all this blame on Mallett, you are not crediting your own teams defense....why don't you put your emphasis where it should be?

IMO they both had earned it...Mallett played unbelievable and so did Odum...Landrus, please dude, no reason to start an argument.

My team was the best team in the MVC this season, that is enough credit for me. We took out the #1 and #2 seeds in consecutive days. We had the best defense throughout the whole tournament, and if you asked me, MSU should have been knocked out on Friday. They got lucky in their first 2 games that their opponent couldn't shut the door, but ISU mangaged to shut the door like they did back in Terre Haute. It just comes to show you that the better team won the MVC this year.

Landrus, Just let it go, we won...there's no reason to rub it in...I know there were alot of people around here who didnt like that we thought we would be good but we were...I think the scoreboard is enough recognition.

Just because you got hot at the right time, doesn't make you the best team in the MVC. It makes you the best team in the MVC that weekend.

You continue to make off based comments. Your team was not the best in the MVC this season, MSU was...your team was the best for one weekend. MSU should have been knocked out on Friday, I agree....but there is a reason why SIU was not good this year, and that game showed it. MSU handled CU, there was no luck involved. I will be eagerly awaiting your next comments, but you may want to gather facts before you post it....

BTW - I enjoyed your "Did ISU play in the CIT last year?" comment in another thread.....you must be a big fan.

Yeah, please disregard those comments...I mean I personally think we were the best team at the end of the season which in reality, is all that matters...But also I dont think there's ever a reason to rub it in anyones face.
