BirdmanBB, here is the ISU release I saw that changed the date of the Fresno State game saying it was originally scheduled for Dec. 3rd, but moved to November 12th.

http://www.goredbirds.com/sports/m-bask ... 11aaa.html

So I assume that it is the November date since it references the move from December 3rd.

Thanks for pointing that out. I can't believe I didn't see the ISU press release on the change.

I did find a Western Michigan article that might lead you to believe that the BB return game might be next season. Unless I am reading this incorrectly in the context of the article.

http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2011/03/steve_hawkins_understands_exci.html

Getting a few respected teams to agree to play — beyond games set against Loyola of Chicago, Illinois State, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Detroit, Southern Illinois, South Dakota State and Georgia State — could be a problem.

Since SIU was thrown in on this list and they didn't play last year (return BB from 2 years ago), I would think that is the case.

Yes, it's part of the "Hy-Vee Classic" where Creighton and Iowa will play three 300+ RPI teams at home and then play in the championship "neutral-court" game w/probably no video replay. It's the same crappy tourney we were in w/Iowa State this year.

WildJays,

Someone actually confirmed on our site that the WMU game will be happening next season for us (redbirds). Also, not sure if you keep track of this stuff.

http://bti.sportshd.com/mens_schedule_board

WSU is looking for a home game and Bradley is looking for 2.

Wichita State need a game @ home for the 2011-2012 season. December,21. We offer a substantial guarantee. Please call if interested.

Bradley University is looking for 2 home games. Competitive payouts are offered.

Open Dates:
November - 11, 16, 17, 18, 19
December - 6, 7, 23

We are also looking to start H&H and 2 for 1 series. Able to start on the road.

November - 16, 17, 18, 19, 29, 30

December - 23

you can add to Indiana State's schedule

http://tribstar.com/sports/x461198898/F ... -not-empty

"Meanwhile, ISU is still trying to complete its 2011 schedule. ISU anticipates that it will open its season with a home game against Eastern Illinois. The Sycamores and Panthers have not played since the 2006 season. It would be part of a possible doubleheader with the women’s team as they are scheduled to play in the Preseason WNIT.

ISU will also play a home-and-home series with Louisiana-Monroe. It will give Lathan a chance to play in front of his family. Lathan’s hometown of Chatham, La., is 30 miles away from Monroe.

ISU is still deciding whether to return its BracketBusters game with Morehead State this year or in the 2012-13 season. If ISU made its return to Morehead State next year, it would create a home-away schedule imbalance similar to the 2011 season.

As of now, ISU will play host to Wisconsin-Green Bay and Ball State. The Sycamores will travel to Buffalo and Boise State. ISU will also play in the Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla. during Thanksgiving weekend.

The Sycamores are working on getting at least two more dates, including a possible away game against a power conference school."

Including the likely matchups for Drake in the Paradise Jam (they do their matchups based on last year RPI) and that Missouri State is opening @ Nevada.

Also the Vegas tourney for Missouri State has West Virginia and two TBA. What I do know is that the other two big teams filling out the field are an SEC team and a PAC-10/12 team. At this point the teams available to fill these spots from the SEC are Arkansas, Vanderbilt and the PAC 10/12 Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington. Start your speculation.

Are there are more dates or opponents to add anywhere that I am missing?

Thanks for the info. I do check that scheduling site periodically to see if there is anything interesting out there. I think I should have everything updated.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Matchups aren't official yet but we are pretty sure that the Las Vegas Classic will include MO State, West Virginia, Baylor, and St. Mary's

Looks like Bradley is just about to finalize a home/home with Michigan that would send them there in Dec of this year and the return would be played in Dec. of the following season.

I am impressed with their ability to get it done scheduling wise with the coaching turnover.
