Thanks for the logical response MVJ.

As usual, there's a small handful of posters that will go out of their way to knock WSU in any way they can, all the while they hate being knocked down in the first place. It's a crazy oxymoron.

FYI.................................

coach lansing on espnu coaches show

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coach lansing was just on(phone) espnu coaches show with Andy Katz. Every time i hear him speak he does the university proud. Not only did he talk up the mid majors he gave some love to msu and wsu, saying they deserved to be in the tournament also.

Wowzer. Vegas giving money away these days.

I had a buddy in Vegas when MSU was playing Drake at home, we were favored by 14. The 'Dogs were coming off three games in a row with 12 plus 3s (I think). I knew there was no way we would win by more than 14, as Drake can run off 3s and bring a team back to a respectable game when D softens at end. I put money on Drake and cashed in when we won by 9.
Next night, ISU was at SIU and SIU was favored by 1.5...I could not believe it. Put my money on ISU even saying they would win outright, which they did by 5.
You can clean house betting on the Valley if you follow all the teams, the guys in Vegas set these spreads on our games and most of them don't make much sense.

That being said, I would love to see ISU in the game at the end with a chance to win...and in that case I think they do pull it out. That is what I would love to see.

Reality check, butt kickin by the 'Cuse...just don't see it happening, too much athleticism to overcome.

I wonder who knows more...vegas or message board peeps? I'm going with Vegas. Now they can and have been off on lines but more often then not they are spot on. So if they are saying 11 or so points, that is where I would say the number will fall closely to. And an 11 point victory is not a whooping most of you on here are describing.

Dan Dakich Picked the Sycamores to beat Syracuse tonight on ESPN...also picked Jake Odum as a player to watch for the entire tournament.

If the Trees can hit 3's, they will be in this game. Odum will be key, as he has the ability to make things happen, and makes his teammates better. If he doesn't get hurt, and stays out of foul trouble, this could be a closer game than most people think. Of course, how effective he will be against a big time opponent, in a big time tournament, is yet to be seen. Win or lose, it will give the underclassmen on the Trees great experience going into next year.

Don't you mean if Printy hits 3's, he is about the only one that does. Odum may have slipped by the MVC teams at the end of the season, but I doubt that he will slip by the Cuse. I'll be rooting for ya, I just think you have a big hill to climb.

Of course he did, he does talk radio in Indianapolis, so he is a homer....he should be expected to make that pick to keep his listeners happy.

I will clarify that I am cheering for every Valley team and want them all to win....but I just don't see them winning this game....and Odum is a good player, but I would am far from calling him a national impact player that would be a player to watch in the tourney.

Show me a sportscaster from NY picking ISU and I will give that a thought.

It was on sportsnation...doubt that he did it for his "viewership" Also Clark Kellog went on note saying that the Trees could be one of those suprise schools.
