WOW! What a relief. I thought you were going to say that they were worse than Bradley and SIU.

Vegas could have doubled the spread and UE wouldn't have covered. Heres a question for fans of other MVC schools.....When was the last time your team had their score doubled by the other team at the end of the game?

For Drake....last year.....twice. (I need a facepalm smiley here)

Anytime a team shoots 60% against you in the first half it pretty much defeats you. BOY are you going to piss and moan when you lose to Evansville.

3 things in life that are certain, death, taxes and Creighton is NOT losing to Evansville this season, period.

I'm having a hard time figuring this abomination out. North Carolina is very, very good. But teams don't lose college basketball games by 50. Okay, it was only 49, but you get the point.

I was so, so wrong to pick Evansville third.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

One more thing, does calling this game an abomination do all other abominations justice? I think I'm shortchanging all other abominations.

List of schools this year that lost to UNC by less than tonight's margin:

UNC-Asheville (16 points)
Mississippi Valley State (26 points)
Tennessee State (33 points)

And then there's the 49 point shellacking that wasn't even in the same ballpark. A SWAC school nearly had twice a closer margin than a Valley team that was supposedly "on the upswing".

Yep, Evansville will again be a Thursday night team. Everyone got fooled, and I'm sure they'll save a "game of their lives" type effort to keep a Valley team out of the NCAA's. It's just what Evansville does.

Way to open up the new arena, Aces.

It won't be the Aces fault. It will be the fault of the team, or teams, that lose to them. It looks like the only way you are going to give the Aces any respect, is if they go 0-18.

Evansville caught UNC at a bad time. They were coming off losing 2 out of 3, and a 1 point loss at Kentucky. It was bound to end like this.
