Honestly, has anyone ever watched multiple players and an assistant coach engage in a shouting match with the opposing fan base after a game? It wasn't like they made one comment in passing. WSU players and the assistant coach stopped, turned up toward the fans, and proceeded to gesture and yell at the ISUred fans.

IMO, this behavior is indicative of the type of leadership in Wichita. I can't imagine this type of behavior from Evansville, UNI, ISUblue, or Drake players/coaches. This is also a big reason why WSU fans often get fed up with the lack of discipline and emotional maturity displayed by Shocker players.

And lol at the shocker players and assistant coach taunting the fans after the game. I've never watched such a display play out like that on national TV. It has small time written all over it.

Oh stfu.

I remember Benny Jacobsen jumping up on scorer tables in 2005. Don't even go there.

Coming from the guy that clowned on Weems for acting up AT HOME in a win. Didn't Jacobsen act you are speaking of a conference champion celebration??

You are the most hypocritical poster on here.

The shox hit a lot of tough 3s the whole second half, great shooting night saved them.

The better team lost? That's what your going with? Your a joke!

That was on the road, in Wichita, and clinched an 11-7 record for UNI.

Are you going to honor your 1 year ban bet when UE finishes below 5th?

You do not know what was said to them. I have seen situations like that before and it's us usually in reaction to something very vulgar from the fans.

You must not have a very good memory. We have several youtube videos with an accurate account this game. None of which show Benny jumping on a scorers table, and DEFINITELY none showing multiple UNI players and coaches taunting the opposing fans after the game.

Benny slapped the media table for 5 seconds and then wen't to the UNI bench to celebrate. The UNI players and coaches proceeded to shake hands and walk straight to the locker room. No taunting, no yelling at fans, no assistant coaches in full suits gesturing and screaming at WSU fans.

Of course I don't know what was said. It doesn't matter.

Fans yell things at players all the time. It's a part of sports. Disciplined players let it roll off their shoulders and allow their play to speak for themselves.

Do you think this is the first time a Valley team has encountered hostile fans?

It was flagrant.

Not sure you can call ISU the better team when you look at the whole season. However, right now they are playing very good basketball.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

At the end of the day, who cares. We scored 8 points in the final :36 to win the game. They were all fired up, now maybe the coach should be a bit more mature, but either way who cares. Great win Shocks! Barring a meltdown we're dancing. ISUb in 2 days will be a tough swing with all this emotion.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.

The Carmichael play was one of the more bizarre things I have ever seen, and I honestly don't know if it was intentional or not. Whether it was malicious or not, I do know that it was avoidable, and ISU completely choked this game away mostly as a result of this play. ISU had the game won with that rebound. Wow.

I also saw the WSU coach (Jans) and a few players getting into some pretty ridiculous shouting matches with the fans (I assume the student sec is above that tunnel exiting the court?). I don't know that I have never seen stuff like that from coaches before. Unacceptable and utterly embarrassing.

WSUbballhair, after you watch this glorious clip again, can you please point out to me where Benny J jumped on top of scorers tables? Thanks--http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJ7tuwHRids
