You went on in your response to say that you agree McD has had influence for the three years he has coached, wouldn't that mean he has had at least something to do with the last 15 years? I never said that 3 years equal 15, but the 3 are a part of the 15. So to say he has had nothing to do with the last 15 years is false.

If you meant to draw a line between Altman and McD then do so by referring to the 12 years previous to McD. But the last 15 years include McD.

Nice trolling job completely hiding from what we were actually talking about by only focusing on one sentence.

Yes, McD had a major influence on his 3 years. He had a part of 20% of Creighton's last 15 years. Great. Happy?

My point is that you brought up the last 15 years of Creighton history as if the 12 years prior to McDermott being there had anything to do with him, or said anything about his quality as a coach. You're hiding from that and arguing an irrelevant statement because you have no ability to argue anything else I said.

If you took it as trolling that's fine, but if someone said Marshall had nothing to do with WSU's success over a span which included his tenure would you not defend him? That's what my motive was so yes I am happy with you admitting McD had a lot to do with the years he was coaching. Nothing more, nothing less.

You're welcome.

And thank you for accepting that McD has yet to prove himself as anything other than a decent coach who got lucky with a couple of great players being handed to him. I look forward to seeing what Creighton can do in a few years after they've fired him.

You had a great year Creighton. If there is anything we can do to help you have a good enough non-conference schedule so that you can be a strong at large candidate, please let us know.

I didn't realize (after reading a publication today) that Creighton hadn't ever gone to a Final 4 during their many years of being a respected, and storied program. I am flabbergasted to say the least. Good Luck in the NBE.

Actually Coach McD contributed a lot more to BJ success than the last 3 years. He lost quite a few games to CU when he was at UNI.

Seriously, I would like to see the CU/WSU series continue for a long time. CU's fanbase has a lot of passion for their team just like WSU's.

I would really like to see CU win the nBE for the next several seasons. It will only bring more respect to the MVC.

Final Four? They've never even made the Sweet 16 in the modern era. They made a few back when there were 32 teams, but that's it.

Fun fact: Creighton's never won back-to-back games in a major national tournament. Ever. Not the NCAA. Not the NIT. And their first national tournament appearance was in the 40s. They've done it in the CBI and CIT both, but not in the main two.
