UE hasn't been who they should have been the past ten years because of their leaders... Merfeld and Vinson . But the new Admin and Coach has learn by those previous example.

Remember the crowing you choose is the crow you may eat.

It was Jennings, not Vinson. Jennings wanted to go D3, and decided to cut funding to the athletics teams. The best thing that happened to UE was Jennings retiring.

Colt McCoy is one of the big reasons for Evansville's recent middling streak. I think we're gonna see that proven this year.

You haven't had a lot of room for talk sixth ace and you're the one that's been doing A LOT of the talking. I dunno how many Valley titles you've predicted for Evansville in the last 5 years.

I think it's legitimate to look at 10 years for overall program status, 5 years for more recent performance and 3 years for trends.

The danger with looking at 3 years is, if there's an unusually talented player at a school, a 3-year look might indicate that player's talent more than it indicates a trend in the program. (Example: UE and Colt Ryan).

UE doesn't normally get players with Ryan's talent. MSU doesn't normally get players with Weems' talent. MSU won a Valley title with Weems. Evansville avoided Thursday night in St. Louis with Ryan.

Posters here are famous for cherry-picking time frames that support their posts and avoiding a year or two on either side of their chosen time frame that might indicate the level of BS that's really in their post.

With TPC, shut down.
No where to keep up with The ACES, except on here.
Was wondering, if anyone went to the open house at UE, on Thursday?

Baller, Baller Baller...we have been here a long time. I'll defend the Aces and predict as many things as I wish. Sometime crow with the right condiments is tasty. It is amazing to me that you and others point out Ryan is the only reason UE has been in 3-5th place in the Valley the past few seasons. Nine other teams of over 12 players each can't stop the mighty Ryan. That doesn't say much of the almighty final four team that got swept by the Aces. Colt Ryan Himself did that. Isn't some of that Final Four team playin in Pro Ball ...but they couldn't stop one guy...not even on Senior Night ... Really Colt Ryan ... SuperBaller

Congrats on your Super Bowl over WSU. While you were celebrating your victories over us, we were out chilling in Atlanta.

What's Evansville's record against WSU? The last 10 years?

Sit down.

Amazing how a simple request can start an epic attack on UE and their fans. We're all here discuss basketball but this thread shows how epic some attitudes are. Shocker loss Armstead, Hall,Orukpe and Williams but No Harm there... UE lose an Ace extraordinaire but the world is crashing.

Aces current board is at

The Ace's lost a player who scored 2279 points in his career and accounted for 28% of his teams total points last year and 25% of the total points the last four years. The Aces are coming off a CIT semis loss and if my rosters are correct lost 67% of the scoring from last year. WSU lost 5 total players that accounted for 49% of total scoring last year. The Shockers are coming off a NCAA semi's loss and return more players than the Aces, along with Final Four experience. The Shockers are picked in all press I have seen as the top pick of the Valley and top 25 in most preseason publications. Evansville is picked either in the middle of the pack or towards the bottom. You tell me who should be more worried about this season.
