Yep, he's definitely the best player on the court tonight.

A lot of interior players have a field day against Drake.

Drakes Rayvonte Rice led all scorers with 17 points at leaque favorite Wichita State this week. I was wondering when the last time a visiting team Freshman led all scorers at Wichita?
I am sure some hard core WSU fans with good memories can tell us. I think it was quite a task.

I am hopeful that the number of frosh contributing and putting up decent numbers this season means the MVC is on an upswing in talent.

When it's all said and done at seasons end……..FOY will be Jake Odum, ISU-B.

Odum is a good freshman, but no...He will not be able to compete with the numbers that McD and Rice have already put up. Even if he averages 15 a game for the rest of the season, the eyes of the media are already on Rice and McD as a two man race. Odum, and probably Lemon and Ekey round out the all Frosh team.

I can't comment (yet) on McDermott; however Rice can 'Slice ‘n Dice' with the best. He's simply a stud and the kind of player the Valley needs more of to improve its status. I sure hope he stays at Drake.
