Ok, that's just unlucky. Illinois State's 2nd conference loss on a half court buzzer beater this year.

Wow, just WOW! What a game at MSU! Illinois State is snakebitten with last minute buzzer beaters this year!

Some would say that is karma for the loosey-goosey way they have run their program the last 5+ years.

Very true but, they got a lucky break on an out of bounds call and did foul a shooter to give a 3 pt play. Then they made a very poor inbounds pass to allow for the craziness at the end.
All that could have been avoided if the Bears hit a few of the 10,000 free throws they missed.

Watched the MSU-ISU game buzzer to buzzer today. The better team today lost, but that's basketball. I've always liked watching coaches who are animated on the sideline, like Hinson and Dana Ford.

It seemed like MSU had a large but really quiet crowd. Maybe the telecast just had the crowd mics turned way down.

That was wild. I thought when it was 58-51 the Redbirds had game sealed. Goes to show you no lead is safe. Springfield is believing in Ford right now. I still believe Illinois St is better

After starting 0-5, Bradley is now 5-2 in last 7.

Just as soon as I belatedly threw in the towel and declared them officially dead, they all lurched forward in their caskets and demanded the basketball. Good thing I didn't fill in the "cause of death" portion because I might have a lot to take back. Does Bradley finish 9-9 ??

If Bradley plays like they did against ISUb last night, no one in the conference is beating them. Winning 4 more games out of the following is doable:

Loyola
@ISUr
@Drake
UE
Valpo
@Loyola

I realize Bradley played a darn near perfect game the other night and is on a bit of a roll, but that has to be about the toughest schedule any MVC team has left. Win 4 of those and I will jump on the Brave bus and chalk you guys up as my personal favorite to win Arch Madness.

I agree The Redbirds have more talent. But I think we are tougher and we have the better coaching staff IMHO.

Agreed. There are more talented teams. Not sure there are better teams though.

Someone asked a while go, what MVC team do you trust? I'd pick MSU based on being in every game since our philosophy change. 5-1. Even Loyola has lost 2 since then
