Missouri State with a respectable 10pt loss at top 25 ranked VCU, but Bears fans frustrated but the continued amount of turnovers. Outrebounded VCU and held the Rams to their lowest point output of the season, but the amount of turnovers VCU caused was the difference

Well in bad news from the Bradley game, Elijah Childs may have injured his non-shooting hand in the 30 point win yesterday for the Braves:

Childs now out 3-6 weeks. This makes the opener for Drake much more winnable in Peoria. Not good, especially after how well the Braves played yesterday. really disappointed right now

Bradley has looked really good for the last couple games. The league needs them to be good.

If it goes towards the 6 week time frame, he could miss Drake, Missouri State and both games against UNI. That's not good for anybody.

Oops.

Yeah. Aces fans are at a loss after this one too. Only thing we can figure is only one day off and it was used to travel. Still doesn't excuse the loss by any stretch of the imagination. UE looking less like Aces and more like Wildcards this year. No idea what to expect each time they take the floor

Respectable? I guess it was. But we really didn't play very well. We have a real problem with turnovers as you stated. Really disappointed we aren't going to get any marquee wins in the out of conference schedule despite having a chance to win in most of those games.

Going hand in hand with the turnover problem is our PG play. Dixon has had a couple of good games but has been totally abysmal in the rest. And our highly touted frosh PG Cooper doesn't look ready. Unless that gets cleaned up somehow I doubt we can contend at the top of the valley per preseason predictions.

Certainly agree it's disappointing, but BU still has Brown, Kennell, Henry, Bar, and emerging standouts in Kingsby and Gabriel and Ville. Boya and Thomas may have flashes too. Not trying to minimize this, but BU has rounded into a balanced outfit lately and still has a couple all-MVC-calibre players on the floor. Let's hope EC gets back in 3 weeks.

The injury unfortunately might cost us a shot at the title and Arch Madness 1 seed because we play UNI twice in early January and without Eli we could easily get swept. At least we have a couple weeks before conference play and Valley-level MAC opponents to get acclimated without Eli. In a way I'm excited for the opportunity for Henry to show he can shoulder a starter load, and Gabriel and Boya who've shown flashes in spurts. But yea at the expense of a few wins. Just hope to tread water so we don't end up fighting to avoid Thursday come Feb.

The Valpo loss isn't "JFC" worthy...Charlotte is an OK squad ranked in the 130s in NET.

The E-Ville loss, however, is really bad. Absolutely blown out by a team that was #321 in NET coming into the game. Was Williams hurt? Only 19 minutes and 6 points vs putrid competition.
