Both the A10 and MVC are in the midst of the worst year in the history of their leagues. Bradley is the only top-75 NET team between the two. Both are locked in as 1-bid leagues in early December. It’s remarkable.

And with Chris Reynolds and Bernadette McGlade as senior members on the committee, this would’ve been the perfect year for either league to take advantage with bubble teams.

Well, I’m disappointed in the loss for Belmont last night. They took a pretty good MTSU to overtime, but we would have won if Ben Sheppard could hit a free throw. It’s obviously a mental thing for him. He was 8 of 11 from 3-point range, but only 5 of 15 from the free throw line. I can’t put the blame on Ben since he scored 33 points, but I sure would have liked for him to make a couple more free throws.

Good news is that we got another post player back after sitting out for concussion issues, But then the starting post player is out. I sure hope we get healthy soon.

Bears are talented but inexperienced as a unit and so very poorly coached. Down 2 late, game on the line, and you get a rushed contested 3 point shot from a reserve forward. Give the ball to your best player (Moore) and let him go to work. Draw SOMETHING up. With Dana in charge they’ll always have potential but never beat a team with a pulse. Fort Wayne is solid and a veteran group. Thought we might lose that one

Sycamores have a challenging game on the road at USI this afternoon. Very interested in how they respond to a raucous crowd ......

Racers lost by double digits to the Bellarmine "Never Dribble Knights" in Louisville. Racers looked uninterested until they went on a 16-0 run in the second half to come within two. Racers haven't played well since Myrtle Beach, lucky to be 2-1 since. Austin Peay at home is next, where I fully expect a big Racer win.

Valley is definitely down.
