"another" only means not the Big 12. They'll be accepted into the SEC soon enough.
Not sure what the Big 12 does though. SMU wants in. Houston has been talked about. Whoever it is, it'll be in Texas. Now, if they add three...
I was reading within the context of the entire article. Maybe bad writing on the authors part. The first sentence states......
Texas A&M dealt a blow to the Big 12 Conference on Wednesday, saying it plans to leave by July 2012 if it is accepted by the SEC or another league.
I thought it was a pretty well known fact that aTm already submitted to join the SEC, but were turned down for the time being. This made it sound like they were looking for a home outside of the SEC if they were unable to join.
My guess is that they try to get TCU to leave the Big East and join the Big 12 instead.
I thought I read somewhere that pretty soon all conferences BCS bowl autobids will be reviewed soon. That would be hilarious if they came out and said the Big 12 is not a strong enough conference to be awarded an automatic BCS bid.
