I dunno. I'm looking at the latest polls right now and they say that there are about 15 teams out of 345 that are better than WSU. They just finished going 16-2 in what was a supposedly much more improved Valley. Maybe they are on to something..

OMG people - stop beating the dead horse. Why not talk about some of the tournament games that are now ongoing. I've been watching some of the Big East and Big 12 - just not seeing the quality there is any better than the Valley.

Marshall has yet to headbutt one of his players during a heated timeout exchange, so McD has scoreboard there.

But to answer your question, probably not. See, WSU fans like Marshall because he's our coach. WSU fans don't like anything Creighton-related. Next.

I vote we shut this thread down. The folks at Wichita have their view of the facts and the rest of us have our view of the facts. No one is going to convince the other side that their view is correct. We won't accomplish much of anything further but continue to anger each other.

With that said I hope all teams in The Valley who are in post season play will be victorious!!! Even WSU!!!

In the Big 12-2-2+2 you have 8 v 9 and 7 v 10 tonight and in the Big East it is still the early rounds too. Must take this into consideration when measuring the quality.

Hey, no question WSU has a great team this year. Guess the point I'm trying to make is that the perception exists that there is, shall we say, a "touch of arrogance" surrounding the WSU program. Might not be true, but the perception is there. I think that perception is what is fanning a lot of the passion in this thread. If posters encounter the attitude that WSU is the best basketball program that the MVC has ever had and ever will have, they are going to act accordingly.
