Superbowl for every Valley team this year when WSU is on the road.

I don't understand the Super Bowl comment. Who cares. The biggest conference game on the schedule has been Creighton for years. I never remember crying about other teams Super Bowl. Just go play the game. This year Wichita is biggest conference game on other teams schedule., I don't understand why it is brought up every game. In a few years, it may be SIU or Illinois St. I don't get the fascination of announcing it every time Wichita plays.

Good luck in this game.

I think that "Super Bowl" cliché was used both times UE played against SHOX, last season.
So, I guess The ACES won two rings, in 2012-13?

Attendance of Creighton's road games last year:

@IlSU 8,813
@MoSt 7,895
@Drake 6,162
@SIU 5,764
@ISUb 8,345
@UNI 6,970
@EU 6,838
@BU 7,730

WSU's so far:
@MoSt 10,776
@SIU 4,891
@IlSU 9,510

Calling it a "Super Bowl" is one thing. If every decent team turns out 1-to-3k more fans per game than they did against Creighton, that's very different. Creighton was the biggest game on the schedule last year, but they weren't causing sell outs from teams they played. Obviously it's too early to say how big the attendance bump will be throughout the rest of the WSU games.

In a few years, if SIU or Illinois State are the #4 team in the country, it might very well be them that it happens to. But I seriously doubt it's the same situation as Creighton when this year is over.

Anywho ... WSU has looked like complete crap in this game so far. I'm sure it's going to be a very different looking team coming out of halftime. But man, how is this a one point game?

We're 1 for 11 from 3-point territory.

That helps to offset the 11 WSU turn overs.

Ugh.

We're playing amazingly sloppy. We can't count on Illinois State's poor perimeter play in the second half.

Even beyond the turnovers, I've been amazed how lackadaisical we've been on rebounding.

I don't know what the score is in this one, but if you're trailing then you've got ILS right where you want them!
