Put Mock on the WSU squad and he wouldn't be leading the nation in boards. WSU has some other guys (Baker) who contest the bigs for boards. Mock gets a lor of boards because he is not surrounded by any other rebounders. Kind of hard to rewarde a guy because of the weakness of the players around him.

If Baker and VanVleet aren't number 1 and number 2 in the voting for PoY, then there must be a lot of respect for the other Shox starters, which I haven't seen until this conversation came up.

I agree Mock on the current WSU team wouldn't be leading the nation in rebounding. But that doesn't really say anything negative about his prowess as a rebounder - just that WSU is very efficient in that area. They always are.

What you would see with Mock on the Shockers is a juggernaut of a team. He (Mock) wouldn't be the best player on that team but wow he sure would compliment FVV and Baker well.

Sorry to get you worked up over suggesting Ron Baker's worth on first team. I know how defensive Shox fans can get with any suggestion of non-WSU heroism.

For being honest?

Don't come over here and play nice, then go back to Shockernet and display your true angst towards the valley and ISUr in particular. Be consistent. Its the one thing I admire with Champions/ShockerFever. He is an ass in both places.

So you can be honest and everything's ok, but when others are honest, you tell them to go back to their team's message board?
You post a lot but add little substance. And evident by your last 5 posts, you seem to have an obsession with WSU's message board. Like I said, this place is becoming a cesspool.

Anyone can be honest, but mvcfan, andshock and others made no sense. I make an argument for Washpun, then agreed with mvcfan about WSU having 2 on first team given the league dominance, then he doesn't get it and extends the argument.

I am on shockernet because we play you today. You call this a cesspool, but when a bunch of WSU fans come here giving no credit to other teams or players, there is no discussion to be had.

Your Fanbase who posts here add little discussion and instead push their agenda that we are all inferior. Go read your own board for the definition of a cesspool from a lower educated fan base. The only reason you'll think it's fine is because you are all the same.

Well well well... now we see how Shocker fans truly react when they're pushed back a little. "Cesspool" "delusional", etc...

This place had been a Shocker strokefest for quite a while. Now that a few fans of other teams have differing opinions, it's turned into a "cesspool".

I've shown in this very thread statistics and facts that show Baker's regression this year and why Mock is every bit the POY that FVV is this year, and it's rebutted with feelings on why FVV feels like the POY to some while refusing to look at the analysis. For those that feel FVV should win it, I totally get it (I started that way too, until I really dug into the data). I now have a different opinion and guess what.... differing opinions can happen without the words "cesspool" being thrown around while getting defensive of said opinions.

Yes, both team's message boards are filled with garbage from their fans. Wichita's is full of "deadbirds" and "redturds" instead of actually discussing the matchup (which should worry the shockers to be honest). ISU's is full of people praising the nut shot and hard play as of late out of ISU towards Wichita which is just as despicable. Guess what... that's going to happen during a heated rivalry between two teams capable of beating each other. If neither team "mattered" to the other, you'd see a 2 or 3 page thread about the game and that's it.

At the end of the day, win or lose, I'm going to applaud FVV and Baker when they finally come off the court today. As much as I dislike WSU, they've had a heck of a career and it's monumental what they've done for the Valley in their 4 years.
