Couldn't agree more. More coaches should care on that kind of level. It is unfortunate that so often those type of emotions are dismissed as insincere or challenged as not masculine.

To me at least, that's what makes sports great.

As I stated, Aces1982 has no idea what is going on yet attempted to make a smarmy attack on our coach.
For some reason, it's okay for everyone else to defend their program but not WSU fans, ostensibly due to our greater numbers or zeal or combination thereof.

As far as I am concerned, those days are over. We all have our bad apples, but I am happy to discuss any and all details of what I know or perceive and do it with respect, right up to the point that someone gets out of line, like you or 1982.

If you don't like it, ban me or head back to the 4 people who regularly appear on AcesLive (or whatever it is these days) or pay $10/month to have Mat edit your comments on the gayjay cafe.

Just so I know the rules before hand. Lots of Shocker fans can get on Marty for weight issues. They can get on Lowery. They can pile on Altman for leaving then coming back not to mention calling him Diana. But I can't ask if your coach was crying after a win? I take it he was, since it struck such a nerve and you never answered me.

Lots of Shocker fans get on Marty? Hmm, I'll have to check that one. I'm proud of the guy, that's not an easy thing to do.

SIU fans are a lot tougher on their coach than WSU fans ever were, and frankly C-Lo has been more successful than any recent WSU coach so I am not sure what point you are trying to make here.

You mentioned great LSU team....an obvious attempt at being smarmy. You know it, I know it.

For the record, Gregg was certainly emotional after the game and I would call it choked up, not crying.

And it had nothing to do with beating LSU.

Do you need any other questions answered, such as how to find your own wallet?

After reading the last couple of pages, I thought I was on liberalismtalk.com, not MVCfans.com. He who cries the most cares the most! If you don't cry you obviously don't care. We are better than them because we care more.

Doc channeling his inner Nancy Pelosi...those are the kinds of things that keep bringing me back here.

I see some SEC games live and a bunch on TV each year. Usually they can be pretty rough and tumble affairs. Was the LSU game pretty physical? The games I have seen seem to be much more physical than most Valley games.

PS...thanks for the previous info on the last second action.

Actually I think he was just still pissed that you welched.

The long term arrogant bunch no longer has anything to crow about, so they have turned petulant, defensive and smarmy.

Maybe DA can turn the tide and give another lecture on "hearsay."

Coaches showing emotion is awesome. When that emotion gets them thrown out of the MVC tourney, that is my favorite kind.

I also love when coaches go ape-crazy after NIT losses at home.

How do you like the emotion displayed by your coach watching his team get blasted in the first round?

Is that a good kind or a bad kind of emotion?
