An interview of Mark Adams conducted by a Valpo student who runs a website\radio show. The interview explains the Alliance in greater detail and details some of Adams' work for mid majors. It's a long but good interview well worth the read. I think with the recent moves in scheduling by the P5 and against the MVC specifically this is something we should all really look into being a part of.

vugrad1314 thanks for posting this excellent interview. I do think that at some point this Alliance may lead to scheduling problems for the Power 5 (6,7) conferences which as a result, will be a benefit to the mid majors. Hope the Valley gets on board with this as it appears the Summit and CUSA are already in.

What makes you think this will hurt scheduling for the top 7 conferences? The only way I can think is if the best mids start to schedule together they can steal more bubble bids which will incentivize projected bubble teams to schedule tougher which may include games against elite mids. Is that what you're thinking?
