How is 7-5 at 3% but 7-6 is at 2%?

If I was picking right now, I think it ends like this...

Loyola
ISUR
Drake
Missouri State
Valpo
Bradley
UNI
SIU
Evansville
Indiana State

SIU in the play in game is a joke, but whatever... As long as Hinson is gone, this team did their job.

Good question. Sample size is the answer.
In the last 22 years, 35 teams have been 7-5 and only 1 of those teams fell to the play-in game (2.86%).
In the last 22 years, 42 teams have been 7-6 and only 1 of those teams fell to the play-in game (2.38%).

2002 UNI was 7-5 through 12 games and 7-6 through 13 games and finished 8-10 and was the 7-seed in the tourney.

Don't fret, your Ramblers will still have a commanding lead for that #1. I'll have the update out after the NET rankings update (hopefully later this morning).
