No way Nebraska is that stupid. Wardle was getting a ton of heat not 2 months ago. The guy they just fired had NCAA experience there and that wasn't enough. They are going to want a guy who has won some games in the tourney or NBA experience.

I am biased as all fans are but here is how I would predict the finish.

1. Northern Iowa- If UNI plays to their potential and plays as well as they did in February into March then I see them winning the league, getting Phyfe back is huge, the game will slow down for Green which I think is scary for the rest of the league, Pickford hopefully will be healthy, Berhow will be better. However, the biggest X factor for UNI may be Tray Croft, if eligible (and all signs point to this happening) he could be huge for UNI being the slasher that they need.

In the last 15 games, AJ averaged just over 15 ppg and 43% shooting behind the arc. And there is clearly still many ways he can improve his game. If he improves even a little bit, better watch out.

The bench was very shallow for most of last season, should be the opposite next year. Teams gonna have plenty of shooters, more experienced big men, a DPOY candidate, and coach Jake should have plenty of time to get the defense up to his lofty standards, it wasn't quite there last year, but came close at the end. Even if Phyfe isn't the stud we are expecting him to be, the added depth for our big guys is gonna really help.

Again, obvious bias from us UNI fans, but I have a very hard time believing UNI won't be top of the valley next year.

Whatever the case, I think the top half of the MVC (UNI, Bradley, Drake, Loyola, MSU) are really gonna pull the conference up a lot in terms of NET next year, and we can all be excited about that possibility!

Every one else's team board seems to be way more contentious than Bear Nation... Not to say that we don't have our certain members and moments, (i.e. members like MOST that get booted trickle over here from time to time) but it seems to be pretty tame especially compared to the SIU board that got shut down.

And, this forum is way above the Bear Nation--better BB knowledge and perspectives and more discussion and detail on a lot more topics.
