I agree it was a signature win but, Ky hasn't looked good at all.

That's a bit extreme. "Has looked shaky in 2 of their games" is more accurate. Beating MSU was impressive, UE and Utah Valley they looked iffy. The rest of their games they won by 20+

1. UNI -- So far they've represented best.
2. MSU -- not a great record, but lots of good tests (including LSU) that will help them.
3. BU -- stinker against NW, but nice rebound against KSU -- and Brown, Childs, Kennell, Henry. :)
4. Loyola -- so far meh, but better than awful.
5. Drake -- Nice win against Murray; the rest of the record deceptive against bad sked.
6. Valpo -- not great, but not bad. Toledo win is underrated.
7. Evansville -- If you can get blown out by an AWFUL ECU team, UK was a fluke.
8-10 -- All awful. Did I see an ISUr fan suggest that they're 1 of 2 teams to beat? LOL.

Mostly agree. I think we are being way too nice to MSU though. They're 3-5 now. No good wins, 1 pretty bad loss.

Not sure if I'm watching the same MSU team you are. The talent is there, but they have been very far from impressive watching as a neutral observer. If they hadn't pulled out that win against an atrocious St Josephs team, they may have the worst resume to date in the valley

Pre-season #1 pick, arguably the most talented roster. Lost to Miami (FL) by 4, Lost @ Xavier by 3 (got screwed), Lost to MAC power Buffalo by 1, Lost @ LSU by 15 but were within 2 midway into the 2nd half and without their best player.

I guess if the Bears had scheduled a weak sauce schedule people may be giving them more credit.

I absolutely give them credit for the tough schedule. But also take into account they lost at home to Little Rock and barely beat St. Joe's.

But after UNI, I guess there isn't really a clear-cut 2nd place resume.

I still stand by my original top four of:
UNI
Drake
Loyola
Evansville

It's proven pretty close to that on pre-conference play, Bradley today is in that bunch.

Regardless of who/what fans think of competitiveness of teams played by Valley members, to me it still comes down to a coaches ability to win games, whether blow out or close.

I think a surprise that could be in the 4th-5th spot will be Valpo.
