It may not have reached JFC levels but we looked bad in that game for significant stretches and didn't attack or try to get to the line at all. Both of these things have been hallmarks of the Lottich era especially the horrible starts to games. That is not a game you lose if you want to be a top half MVC team. This team is so inconsistent and up and down I think another Play-in finish is very likely. As for Evansville travel weariness may have played a role having just played a game up in Green Bay which they won as an underdog according to the betting lines.

Sycamore fans are getting weirder by the day. Who in their right mind celebrates a fellow conference team getting beat in the non-con, especially to the point of going to an obscure school's fanboard to prance and celebrate? I wonder if it is the same one who went on the childish rant about restaurants?

There is nothing to defend on this game. I really appreciate the talent potential we have, possibly the best since the MCC days..but the mental maturity is very concerning. Travel may have been a small issue, but if you can't get it together enough to at least show up against a team as bad as JSU, then you shouldn't be wearing a D-1 uniform.

Loyola with a nice win over Vanderbilt, pulled away late in the second half by double digits and won by 8. Krutwig also had a triple double.

Ramblers are undefeated since Keith Clemons debuted. He really facilitates the offense well and allows Krutwig to do so much more. Plus he is a gritty defender. Also allows Marquise to be the 6th man and provide a real spark off the bench.

Tough game Sunday against Davidson who was a preseason top 25 but has struggled out the gate. We got them at home so I think we can pull it out.

Can't wait for conference play. Really hoping Krut wins POY and gives Loyola back-to-back-to-back winners.
