I am hating UNI fans more and more these days. They've become Shockers... so sad.

Except Hacksaw, love that guy... wish him all the best. But the rest of you have really turned into the new Wichita.

Hey now. They bring more fans than anyone on Friday. One of them was trying to argue with me the other day about how they bring more fans than SIU, ILSU, and BU. Then when they realized I was talking about Sunday's, they used pre tournament orders as their fall back. Breaking news a lot of fans won't show up until their team is actually in the championship game. No one cares about UNI's pre tournament orders.

Seems to me like you're bragging about how fair weather your fans are. How is this something to be proud of? I rarely get into pissing contests about whose fans are best. But this is a hard post for me to understand.

Yeah BU had a bunch of people come out of the woodwork for the title game (making the relatively short drive). But those folks couldn't spare the time to come down for the first two games? I'd rather have folks that are with me through thick and thin than who come only when we make the big game.

How come no wins from Evansville after conference started?
How about Domask breaking his leg, and Mullins getting fired, and see where the Salukies would be.
How about Evansville stop hiring sexual predators. Everyone in the world knew about him...

UNI shouldn't be bragging about anything fan related. From what I saw last year you guys didn't have that many to start with. Might have had more than Loyola and Drake which isn't saying much.

A lot of people also work on Fridays. So obviously Bradley brought more as the weekend progressed.

Well, this thread has quickly turned into two rock fights with UNI/Bradley and SIU/Evansville.

Can we start the Week 9 discussion thread? And hopefully keep it to a discussion of this week's games (and Arch Madness implications).

I agree, although Evansville really shouldn’t pick fights with anyone.

In fairness to them, I've seen Aces fans consistently posting all season long on this board, despite the ridiculous woes they've endured, this year and in the past. That's more than several fan bases can say over these past few years.
[Insert snappy comeback]

I am definitely not a Bradley fan. Just stating that BU, SIU, and ILST generally bring the most fans, particularly on Sundays.

I would much rather see Bradley and Southern play on Sunday than UNI and Loyola. I want to go to a game where the place is actually mostly full rather than half empty.

Says the guy that cares so much much about The Valley that he wishes his team were in the OVC so they don't play private schools or some nonsense like that...

I mean all this is whatever to me about the fan bases... All the posters on this board seem to have a mutual respect and appreciation for the valley except for some of you UNI fans these days who have turned into Wichita. Now you think that you are better than everyone else. In the past month alone different UNI fans have came after me with garbage attitudes picking fights when there was not one to start with... Sounds like a lot like a Shocker thing to do. I guess when one bully moves away though it gives another the opportunity to step up.
