As a UNI fan, I'm not sure this fan base can deal with losing another generational talent because of their father.

Iowa State says they'll have their staff hired in the next 7-10 days. Buckle up.

I would be shocked if Kyle Green, and then AJ, DONT end up at Iowa State.

Kyle is gone. He was TJ's first call when he got the job. There are 10 or 12 high major kids in Iowa the next 5 or 6 years and Iowa State wants them and Kyle can deliver them. He's also a really nice Xs & Os guy to compliment TJ's weakness there.

The Register and lots of other reports say that AJ would probably stay at UNI. Why would he leave UNIs tournament ready team and a real shot to be Player of the Year again to walk into a full scale rebuild with a program that wasn't anywhere near competitive in the Big 12 last year? You'd much rather be exposed playing professionally while making money than being exposed in the Big 12 and harm your money making chances.

It's much more likely that Emerson goes and plays for the Iowa State women.

If AJ stays, he needs to play the two.

Interesting about AJ. I just assumed he would go to.

Funny how IU put all their eggs in one basket to get Stevens. Then a lot of boosters wanted Chris Beard from Texas Tech. But I believe he will end up at Texas because Shaka took over Marquette. Indiana should have went after Shaka.

Indiana University is run by a bunch of idiots. They should have gone after Thad Matta and gotten this done. Instead, they wanted an NBA guy who they had no chance of getting, and now they’re seemingly focused on retreads from the Bob Knight era. This is funny as hell to watch!

Thad Matta popped a positive drug test so he's done. Forever.

BC, I’ve looked, but I have not seen any details other than “failed medical exam,” then Nevermind-we never offered him a job.

Never seen that. It could be true, but imho, it’s more likely he turned IU down because only an idiot would go there. And IU needed to save face. Their fan base is about as bad as UCLA’s...

Whatever the reasons, it’s still funny to watch!
