If Missouri State leaves, who do you add?

Help me out here, why would MO State leave the MVC? I seem to have forgotten.

Didn't y'all hear? They got that there Bobby C. Petrino as their football coach who's gonna take them to the FCS National Championship! Then they gonna bolt for that down over there
bigger conference where they will sell out Drywall Stadium every dang Saturday!

South Dakota State would be an improvement in both Football & Basketball over Missouri State!

I was laughing pretty hard when SIU reeled off 38 straight points. Poor Bears lol.

The only way MSU goes FBS is if they go CUSA, and they turned that down. The Sun Belt has better options for football than MSU if they expand / replace anyways. They'll most likely be able to continue poaching the best teams from the new CUSA if they need anyone.

Well SDSU is already a part of the MVFC and I wouldn't be so sure how well they would adjust to the MVC.

It sounds like Kennesaw State is going to the C-USA so that's one less place available.

From this mornings D1 Ticker: Extra Points purveyor Brown writes further on potential Conference USA expansion beyond the report last week of Kennesaw State joining the fold: "Multiple industry sources have told me that while Eastern Kentucky is very interested, Western Kentucky has made it very clear that they do not want the Colonels in the league. Tarleton State has not been shy about expressing their interest in joining the league, but multiple industry sources have told me that Conference USA is not nearly as interested in them...at least right now. Missouri State, I'm told, remains focused on hoping to eventually join the Sun Belt, not Conference USA. Stephen F Austin, I'm been consistently told, would prefer not to make an FBS transition at this particular moment due to costs and infrastructure requirements. Unless a new school emerges, the candidate pool would likely just be the remaining ASUN football programs, like Central Arkansas, Austin Peay, or North Alabama.

Glad to hear it I wanted to vote for them but it wasn’t an option.
