Yeah. It is frustrating. For me, as a UNI fan, it’s frustrating that we are good. Now. Our best player is playing hurt and we just ran with and nearly beat two very good teams.

I don’t know when Bowen rests. But when he is good, and the team has integrated Hutson, yes, I still think we will be good.

The preseason #9,10,11 have been incredible for the bottom of a conference. Evansville, UIC, and SIU will all definitely bringing up the numbers for the conference.

Agreed. And not sure what's going on with Belmont and Murray. I hope this trend of newer MVC teams messing the bed after successful runs elsewhere ends soon. We need those teams to contribute. To their credit, UIC seems already to be moving in the right direction. And yes, Evansville and SIU seem so far to be capable. Valpo better than I thought (still meh, not good) as well. ISUr is an enigma. And UNI is gonna trash some MVC teams, no doubt, after blowing every chance to help the league get an at-large. Gotta respect BJ, but man can his teams melt down sometimes.

Overall the Valley avoided what looked like a really bad day when InSU and UE were trailing. Let's see if UNI can bring home a nice evening for the Valley.

UIC did great and that Evansville win is huge! Chattanooga has a win over Louisville that the MVC just captured by proxy. Granted Louisville is not off to a great start but it's still a P5 victory that could help buoy some MVC teams resumes. I am so thrilled to see UIC and Evansville doing so well and I agree that the rest of the MVC's newest additions (Valpo included) need to pick it up. Overall though the league has been doing pretty well winning most of the games they need to be winning against good teams from leagues at or near our level. If we can jump up and surprise some P5 teams as well all the better. Good win UNI! Thank you! Just saw it went final! This has been a great night for the MVC. I almost think the Belmont loss doesn't really matter with the caliber of wins the rest of the league brought back today!

Valley turns in a 4-1 night on a day Vegas predicted 2-3.

Big game for Bradley tomorrow night with Vermont, who’s beaten Charleston and Saint Louis convincingly.
