It's not really that crazy. If they really want in the valley for all other sports that bad then all they have to do is promise road games to all MVC voting members in the MVFC (plus Drake). They would get a majority of the votes needed to be added to the MVC. Crazier things have happened.

For example, didn't BYU promise football games when they moved their non-football sports?

I'm not saying it will happen, but my point is that they need to offer something of value to the valley as they currently do not. Unless current valley members see Air Force as a good investment I would say no unless they bring something to the table.

Damn you are dumb. I tried to help explain my position. Instead of conversing on it you would rather throw out insults and ignore what is actually written. Not once did I suggest someone for baseball, once I suggested that when two teams are even in basketball then yes baseball should help tip it. Two different things that somehow you fail to understand.

or we could add Air Force and kick out Illinois State since they've brought nothing the MVC in the last 15 years but keep collecting the checks.

Not quite exactly the same. BYU promised games to the league it left. In the WCC, only San Diego (I believe) plays football (FCS non-scholly). I'm sure they weren't at the bargaining table demanding a football game.

The closest applicable example is Temple in the MAC for football only. As part of that deal, Temple was obligated to play home-and-home (or might have even been a 2-for-1 deal) with each MAC member in basketball. They had it broken down into their schedule over time and are committed to basketball games against MAC teams for a couple more years yet.

Check my quote above. I said the exact same thing. And yes, using the quality of a baseball team to decide who we should add is silly if not outright stupid. It is just as stupid as using volleyball, soccer, or FCS football. NONE OF THE OTHER SPORTS SHOULD BE USED AS A TIEBREAKER.

So basically, you admit that you'd be willing to accept a bribe.

I would be open to an agreement. Other than that, my stance is no on Air Force.

I'm really really mad when I type big tall words, ROAAAAAAR!

God you are a d-bag, now it's a tiebreaker? Thats cool if thats the stance you want to take. Now you are disagreeing with what I said as before you were just disagreeing with an imaginary statement.

P.S. roooooooooooaaaaaar! (it's little case so I'm not as upset over it as you :D )

Fair enough.

I think it is dangerous that a school would consider an up or down vote on a permanent conference member for one FB game every five years or so. I would hope that ADs, if willing to be bribed, would hold out for a significantly better deal than that....
