Palm's bracket out. WSU a 5 seed playing Northwestern and Creighon a 6 seed playing Cal. Both teams could make a nice run with brackets like these.

Creighton to Sweet 16
Wichita State to Elite 8

9. One thing that impresses me about Wichita State and Creighton is that they've managed to separate themselves from the pack in what I believe is a very strong Missouri Valley Conference. Wichita State is 14-2 in league play while Creighton is 12-4. The next-closest team is Missouri State at 9-7. Three other teams (Illinois State, Drake and Evansville) are 8-8.

Long Beach would be a terrible first round draw as a 4 seed.

Lunardi's bracket is out and he isn't as kind to the MVC teams as Palm. WSU a five seed and Creighton a seven seed.

Saint Louis is in the same position as MO State a couple of years ago. No top50 wins but a few decent wins with a 22RPI. But they'll finish 2nd in a top7 league, whereas MSU was 4th or 5th.

It would be awesome if WSU and CU were at the same site.

Also, is it possible for CU to be in Omaha? Not sure what the rules are on that; Louisville gets to play in Louisville but CU can't play in Omaha? Does it have to do with the arena they play in?

Creighton can't play in Omaha.

I would love it if WSU came here though.

Not going to happen unless WSU falls between a 7-10 seed as KU and Mizzou are going to be in Omaha.

I'd really like to see WSU play MU in this years tourney and beat them. MU has absolutely no respect for the MVC at all. MU is really good this year but I think WSU could take them. Superior depth and Stutz in middle would be their advantage. Probably not going to happen but it would be sweet.

Even though MSU has no chance to go to the big dance unless we win in StL by some miracle - I'm really looking forward to the NCAA tournament this year. Their are a lot of interesting teams and I think both WSU and CU have a shot at deep runs.
