FWIW, Creighton's SID tweeted last week that Creighton had sold a conference record number of all session passes, which would be in line with the information in your post...

Geez guys. Isn't it clear why WSU and Creighton are selling the most tickets? If SIU was at the top right now can you imagine how many session tickets would be sold for them? Do we have their numbers from a few years back?

Well since we know that SIU is probably down for a few more years can we at least move it until SIU comes back to the top of the pack. (Sorry SIU fans)

Even when the Jays or Shoxs have a "down" year, they always travel in great numbers to the tourney. So get a clue.

birdman, any idea what the term LEAGUE RECORD might mean?

Pretty sure that would include the days when SIU was on top. :Bam:

It most certainly is - they have the largest fanbases.

They also come from the two largest metro areas, which certainly helps.

Another factor is that they are so far away. If you are an SIU fan or an MSU fan, you can easily come and go as you please each day, without buying all session passes. Its more of a full weekend commitment for WSU and CU fans.

Nope...we never buy all session. It's a full weekend that's for sure but we buy tickets when we get there.

While we do have the farthest to travel, we also have the largest fanbases in St Louis. Every year. All you have to do is go down there and attend a game.
