Nice season for CU. Next year it's entirely possible they get back and go further.

Perfect statement.......I know I am a homer so everything I say will be tanted, but this is exactly how I felt watching this game. NC has some amazing athletes and I think we hung with them all game and didn't play all that well and missed some shots we would normally make. Hats off to NC, they were the better team but I am so proud of the Jays...future is very bright!

I dont think CU is a dirty team, that is UNI's calling card. (I kid) what big E did however was atrocious he just tried to kill the poor kid.

I messed have dozed off somewhere during the game. Are we talking about the Zeller flop play or was there another play where Big E was being too nasty?

Back on topic - congrats to CU (and WSU) on great seasons.

The Zeller play was just a flop if you asked me. Later in the game he flopped again and didn't get the call and was whistled for a personal foul. The play where the kid broke his wrist happens in every game and was nothing more than a contested layup.

My quick two cents is that while Tyler Zeller may have flopped, what is GE trying to accomplish on that play? I'm not accusing him of anything, I'm just curious as to what he is attempting to do with Zeller. It looks like a fairly aggressive play, and doesn't seem to be a typical defensive move to prevent Zeller from going inside. I think the real problem that most people have is that it seems very aggressive and appears to be aimed high up on Tyler Zeller, which is usually interpreted to be a dirty play because of the proximity to the head. However, I'm not the most knowledgeable person in the world by any means, but I do understand why people would be upset with it. As for the Gibbs wrist slap, that is just silly to think he was trying to cause harm, and I think the wink doesn't prove that he was trying to cause harm but simply a casual wink to teammates for being able to get the best of Henson's temper.

Anyways, congrats to the Jays on a fine season and earning the opportunity to play UNC. It was a fun game to watch and hopefully the Valley can come back next year and make a deep run in the tournament
[Insert snappy comeback]

It was and does. I just always have a problem when a player is shoved while in the air. That is how kids get seriously hurt. It doesn't need to happen and should be punished accordingly. I am not bashing on Wragge here either. I really think the rule needs to be reviewed. That is just my opinion on the matter and wouldn't be any different if a UNI player was the one who gave a little shove to a player in the air. Same thing happened to Grant Gibbs in high school. He was going up for a dunk got shoved a little and boom his wrist broke.

Unfortunately, moronic UNC fans thought it was intentional and sadly sent death threats to Wragge though twitter......

I'm not taking a side on this....but....

If these types of things happened to CU's golden boy CU's fan base would be completely up in arms as well.

But they wouldn't send death threats to multiple players on the team via twitter. I don't care they thought the Jays were dirty, I do care that someone tweeted that they lived in Omaha, they know where Wragge lives and that they are going to kill him.

That is a line that should never be crossed, but it was, several times on Sunday.

Email that tweet to the Omaha police and CU Police.
