Congrads to both teams. I hope you both go deep into the tourney. Hope one of you wins it all. That is the truth. Though I might like WSU since they are staying.

[quote]Please ignore the less gracious Jays fans...and ignore Perrault's twitter (goes without saying) because he's a f****** idiot./quote]

??? I thought someone said Perrault gave up Bluejay Cafe. What is he still doing hanging around? He's like that mangy hyena that gets beat up by the other hyenas and kicked out of the pack, yet continues to scrounge around the outskirts of the pack's territory. Hadn't thought about it before, but if we go into the Big East, that puke is sitting out there on the East coast and is almost certain to try making himself the voice of the Jays out there. Lord help us!

I congratulate the Blue Jays on their fine accomplishment. Their student athletes played a great game today. I don't want to lose sight of that.

However if you were watching the CBS broadcast today then it really solidified to me that fans of the nine other Valley schools should be excited that the Blue Jays will only be wearing the Valley patch for perhaps one more game. I was pretty embarrassed when the fancy overhead CBS camera kept scanning the CU student section. You have some kids with a picture of apparently Barbara Bush for some reason and then you had a dude wearing a Mizzou shirt. Nice shirt dude. CU has helped the Valley profile in basketball quite a bit but they are like the Cousin Eddie of the conference. Glad they are moving back in with Aunt Edna. Clark Griswald will still survive somehow.

Fun game to watch! Game was very physical which favored the Shockers, but the good guys still couldn't get it done. Good luck to Creighton in the NCAA.

Happy trails Colt Ryan and Jackie Carmichael! Good players on mediocre teams. Much respect, but I won't miss playing against either one. Good luck at the next level!

Great game. Impressive that CU could win with Doug having a bad game. I'll really miss seeing Hall next year too. Hall vs Echenique was one of the better Valley matchups. I don't think the Shox injuries played any more of a role than CU losing one of their better players?

That Baker kid for Shox sure is a baller. He just seems to have great instincts and can really shoot.

It WILL be interesting to see who goes farther in the tournament? My guess would be CU but a lot depends on the matchups.

Thanks to both teams for representing the Valley well today and all year.

The lady you say looks like "Barbara Bush" is a prominent CU ticket holder and has been for a LONG time. She is basically honored by the students with her big head picture.

St Louis will be like a ghost town without CU fans in attendance. The crowd was easily 80-20 Jays fans from the look of the telecast. Better be careful what you wish for.

Shocker fans are unbelievable.

My mistake on the picture. I had no clue.

Any Valley school would sell 5,000+ tickets or whatever if they were a preseason top 15 team in nearly every projection. Especially with a preseason first team AA. Tim Brando described it as 55-45 CU on air.

Creighton is a good team. Their are good reasons they were favored to win the Valley easily. Like tonight, they don't ever seem to miss open shots. Three points every time a guy caught the ball even slightly open. The Shockers couldn't start their run quick enough because Creighton kept matching shot for shot.

The refs were not a decisive factor in this game, but as a fan it annoys me to no end when they make five or six consecutive calls against my team. With about eight left to go, it felt like Creighton was gifted around ten points in the form of free throws, while the same could not be said for the Shockers, who were taking more abuse.

In the end, the fouls and free throws were basically equal, but having all those at once was a killer. It wasn't the worst we've seen this tournament (Missouri State and their whiplash kid), but it made a difference.

I think that if you combine Wichita State's toughness and defense with the Blue Jays shooting you would have the best team in the nation. The good news for Wichita is that they are built to get better over the next few years, and the real post season is about to begin. It seems sucks that they lost this game, but the NCAA tournament is much more important than the Valley title.

He isn't a WSU fan, you nub.

Maybe you should stick back to just "reading". You're an embarrassment to the CU fanbase. Even your own message board is telling you to STFU.

Once Creighton loses, you'll quickly disappear back to obscurity because you're obviously that predictable - a poster that only posts in good times and after wins. That's about as bandwagon and pathetic as you can get.
