Bradley will host Norfolk State on November 19 as a prelim to the Ft. Myers Tipoff. The other prelim I think is likely to be Radford on November 22, but it could be any of these teams:

San Francisco
Monmouth
Radford

Norfolk State won the MEAC and played in the NIT last year but their NET was only 247.

I believe SELA last year was a one-off. I may be wrong, but I don't remember that being a return game for us.

I could be wrong, but I have looked and haven't seen anything indicating we were going there this year. Usually the game notes have series info, including future games. And the only comment regarding the pairing last year was that it was their first-ever meeting.

I've checked press releases regarding scheduling, Dave Reynolds stories and twitter, and game notes.

Yeah you may be right. I thought I heard it was a H&H somewhere but I also can't find it anywhere. Wouldn't break my heart if we don't have to play them again-- they disappointed last year and their coach just bolted.

Nice. I'd LOVE for Loyola to get a shot at Northwestern. But the little kittens seem afraid to play a school a that is a mere few miles down the road. Hell, I'd love just to renew the yearly rivalry with DePaul.

Nice. I'd LOVE for Loyola to get a shot at Northwestern. But the little kittens seem afraid to play a school a that is a mere few miles down the road. Hell, I'd love just to renew the yearly rivalry with DePaul.

Bradley has only played Northwestern twice in the last 80 years, and the last time was a Braves win in 1985. So playing them every 30 years is par for the course, and we needed a tournament organizer to make it happen.

DePaul and Bradley played a 4 game series between '04-'07 and Bradley won 3.

I think it's a shame and some sort of Land of Lincoln tourney would be great and draw a lot of interest. You could rotate among the MVC OVC and B1G teams and that would keep it fresh. But DePaul and the B1G feel they're above that.
