Seems a bit early to shove Loyola under the bus. They might need to win the Valley league title or the tournament but if they're close, they're OK. Their national appeal will count for points. Yeah yeah ... objectivity, my foot.

The Aces, meanwhile .............

A bit ridiculous to count of Team out of the NCAA tournament is an at-large with one loss. Every loss has a bigger impact for mid-majors, I get it. But still, it's one loss.

SIU played well against Kentucky but looked totally gassed toward the end. They gave the #2 team a real game for 35 minutes. It would not surprise me to see them with the #1 seed going into Arch Madness. Pippen, Cook and Fletcher are going to give teams lots of problems this year.

SIU will be a very tough out this year, no doubt.

Obviously, they don't care about winning. They're dragging down the conference.

The Shockers are just an awful team.

Loyola looked pretty bad. Shooting was horrendous. Defense was weak. I think they may have overestimated their talent level.

Decent win for Indiana State at Green Bay yesterday, but until the two D-I transfers become eligible at the semester, it doesn't look like Barnes and Key have much help. And even when those other guards join the mix, the Sycs still have a very dicey frontcourt ... they really could have used a decent JUCO big last offseason. It will be challenging for the Trees to stay out of the bottom four, but they should at least be interesting when they're at full strength.

Oh hi... only going to show up after wins and not abysmal losses?

Such a Wichita move...

A few said this about their run last year and not expecting a ton of momentum carry-over and were released for it

But

Did anyone ever take the time to actually think that maybe they just had a once in a life time type run where everything went right?

Their bracket fell apart

They trailed Miami the entire game and hit a 35 foot off balance shot to beat Miami after Miami missed a front end of a 1-1 with 9 seconds left

They blew a big lead to Tennessee and Custer got about 9 fortuitous bounces as he hit a 17 footer while falling over and off balance

Also caught Kansas State on their worst shooting night of the season.

It was a great run. Magical.

But man there has been a lot of carry over overreacting to it.

Subtle, yet effective.

This is what I said, not whatever you posted above Ricardo.
