Pretty sure he was being sarcastic. As has been discussed, Chicago State is terrible. It would be better to schedule a D-2 school. How Illinois State was losing them to them with under 5 minutes to go is beyond me.

We'll see if Bradley can learn to win on the road as they have a bunch of road games coming up now.

Ja Morant puts up 29/13/12. Just another NBA’er coming through Murray (Canaan, Payne).

Still bummed that this guy and team aren't in the MVC. Would have been fun to watch. Such a shame that they are wasted in the OVC.

It is past time to embrace 11\20. League gets better double round robin preserved Everybody wins.

Or...

This is ISUB’s annual “we’re going to look like an actual basketball team and beat someone good before we fall apart and suck” game.

Could go either way...

I never know what to expect from Indiana State, they always seem to have one or two really great non-con wins.

In the early going I would say Bradley looks the best; makes sense given their team make up, lots of veterans with experience.

Illinois State maaaaaaaay be putting it together; they seem a bit up and down but when Yarborough asserts himself they're in a great spot.

Haven't watched any of MSU but they seem to be doing well in the early goings!

SIU...not sure what's going on after that UMass loss

Loyola's definitely going to be interesting; hard to say where we'll end up, the seniors are clearly feeling some pressure to perform and it's effecting performance. Williamson's taken his game to another level and looks like he able to score from all 3 levels and Krutwig is still a force. The team is so young though and it's showing. Only ten players available and 7 are frosh/soph. With the only junior being Skokna... So much talent, but so so young. They're being tested early which hopefully will pay dividends come conference play!

you bring up a very valid point, recently ISU has had very good non conference wins (IU, Butler, etc...) then tanked the rest of the season, it's as though they get that big win early, then it's like, ok, season's over, we got our big win for the year.

We'll see if the same holds true this season? We'll find out soon enough at a very horrid San Jose State Weds. night
