Missouri State not really impressing against a terrible Alabama State team. SEMO, the team that beat them last week got thumped by Youngstown State at home

Best me to it! Too bad you didn't quote the original post.

Somehow in his seventh year, this could be Wardle’s worst team. And that includes the 2015-16 season where they won 3 Valley games. The new crop of guards does not pass the eye test, to put it lightly. The struggle to recruit Valley level guards continues for this program.

I’ve watched a handful of other MVC games this year and Bradley is not better than any of those teams.

I love the competition for whose team is the bottom of the Valley. Sadly my Salukis also had a rough loss, but not as bad as some. And at least on the road. Hopefully some teams turn it on to give our top teams a shot at at-large bids.

How were we all so delusional to think the Valley was going to be strong this year? In one week we have managed to make multiple bids almost impossible.

Drake and Loyola have to take care of business. Unfortunately, that also means they have enormous pressure to win almost every conference game now. Win, and win by a lot.

At this early point, that doesn't seem like a huge hill to climb.

Really impressive blowout by Drake. South Dakota isn't an awful team and they blew them out of the gym.

Drake needs to walk on the sunny side of the street.

Honesty, UNI hasn't killed the At Large yet simply because there are plenty of opportunities and the schedule will make us a quality win in league play even if we don't figure it out.

Bowen Born was back yesterday, and yes it was a D3, but the spacing and movement offensively was strikingly better.

I'm not ready to write this season off yet though it's going to take beating Arkansas or St Bonaventure to get back into the at large mix.
