AJ finishes his degree in May and Phyfe will have his master's in December.

That’s a great reference! Hahahah.
That UNI/Loyola game last night was electric. About midway through the first half it seemed Loyola was rattled and dead in the water. I believe the Blers got up 9 in the second half and I thought the same thing about UNI. It was a really fun game to watch. Kudos to the schedulers for lucking into that game.
I don’t remember a time recently when so much was decided by one game on the final day of the regular season. Such a variety of implications that one game effected 5 teams. A 4th place finish when a team was moments away from being #1 is incredible and speaks to how fun this league is.
Feels like there will be a solid atmosphere for all of the games in STL. I’d venture that 6 fan bases are coming out believing that their team can win the whole damn thing. I don’t know how the “traditional” fans will travel but I saw SIU is putting together a bus trip for students and giving them free tickets. That’s an awesome initiative.

The MVC has had 3 tied-for-first, winner-take-all soldout finales since 2011:
2011 - WSU/MSU
2015 - #9 UNI/#11 WSU (College Gameday)
2022 - LUC/UNI
