If every team took care of their own business, the MVC wouldn't be a 1 bid league. We all have to win our OOC games to have a shot, and that is the problem, no team took care of their business, which is what I am getting at.

And it would still be a one-bid league. That is his point...

Oh, so you are expecting every Valley team to go undefeated in non-conference play...Gotcha...

I think ISUr did that, or came close to doing it, a couple of years ago with a crappy non-conference schedule...How'd that work out for them?

I said OOC play not MVC play. If teams would win their OOC games the MVC wouldn't be in the mess that it is now.

Don't blame Elgin. There are ADs and presidents who would need to sign off on a plan to penalize schools and enough have changed that there isn't consensus anymore.

For this year, even a die hard Bears fan has to acknowledge they didn't do enough. There are no quality out of conference wins and that alone should keep them out, but there's more to hold against them and don't think the committee doesn't know it.

But it shouldn't keep the BCS teams out...

No one has said we earned a bid. I have said many times that if we get in, it will come from nowhere like in 1999 and for Air Force in 2006.

If you win all of your OOC games against CRAP teams, it's not going to do anyone much good. And there are going to be games where you slip up. There's little margin for error when you don't schedule well or the other conference teams are so far down the RPI list to give you any help.

As a conference, there needs to be 5 or so teams in the top 100 to give us a better chance at multiple bids. And we need far fewer 200+ teams.

I'm not trying to be a prack, but as long as you can agree that you haven't done enough to earn a bid then there better not be botching when you're not named on Sunday.

I'm just watching the score online, but whats going on with the Georgia/Alabama game. Georgia had a pretty big lead. Now that they are saying that Georgia is solidly in, is the fix in to get Alabama in as well?
