Good job Aces, exciting game. New arena looked nice but wish scoreboard was working that listed players points and fouls.

How was the atmosphere at the new arena?

Does anyone have any pictures of the game?

The atmosphere was totally electric. The crowd was on their feet much of the second half. Since the new arena is structurally much larger, I was curious how loud it would be but was really impressed with the noise level.

The "bells & whistles" at the new arena seemed to resonate with the younger crowd. The videos on the scoreboard really draw people into the game. If the game last night didn't hook a person on Aces basketball, nothing will.

I had as much fun at this one as I've had in a while. Can't wait for IU on Wednesday.

Saw Doug Elgin at the game. It would be interesting to hear his perspective.
Wishing I was back home again.

It would be great to see you guys knock off Indiana. Is that game on the BTN?

Hey Coogles, want to talk about the poor calls on the Aces, too?
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

Little off topic; Are the fans happy with the new seats they got? When I was there last year there were some older fans that did not appear happy with the move. Like having to pay for parking and stuff. Did you have to pay more or donate more to get the same seats? Are there suites? Did the number of season ticket holders go up or stay the same? Beer?

I'm an "older" fan who loves the new arena. Season ticket sales were substantially more than last year. Season ticket buyers received a parking pass for nearby garage with purchase of ticket (for each game). Downtown is alive again....Reba, Bob Seger, two ice hockey games, and three Aces games in past two weeks. Was there for Seger and to see Aces defeat Butler. Basketball game was sold out and as noisy as the fans of the Silver Bullet Band....great facility that I hope brings a lot of fans out to see this team that Marty is building. And, yes, there is BEER! I'm sure the winter snow and cold will be a new source of complaining from many, but as one who attended most UE games for the past many years, the walk from our parked car at Roberts was equally cold and freezing. I just hope the Ford Center becomes as "uninviting" to our opponents as Roberts could be in the past. :) Seriously. though, welcome to all our MVC opponents....come on over to our house....we've moved downtown!

Also, there are suites.....fantastic suites. My son, an electrician worked at the arena, says the suites are fabulous!
