I agree don't inject politics into the thread. Prospective members should be analyzed on their sports merit alone.

All else being equal, don't take the school that invites controversy and bad press. This is about prudence as much as politics.

Agreed. The politics shouldn't matter. As much as some may see their stand as discrimination, it's no better to discriminate against them for religious beliefs. Just opening up way too many cans of worms...leave it out, evaluate their athletics.
