Why?

Because everybody hates us. People hate winners, and are often insecure seeing other teams get all the limelight. This shouldn't be a big surprise around these parts.

So...you hate WSU because we are successful, but want INSU to make the tourney and be successful...so...you can hate them next year? Brilliant. Maybe try getting more than 10 fans to show up to an Evansville game and worry about your own business instead of leeching off of everyone else.

You couldn't be more wrong. I don't hate WSU because they a have a successful basketball program, I hate them because of the overblown obnoxious shocker fans who post to this forum, some of them even to be proud of being miserable human beings. Your post is a perfect example. My dad always told me that it is much better to be good winner, than to be a good loser. I don't see that trait in very many shocker fans.

:+1: BINGO ACECARD, and think that's something almost all Valley fans can agree on.

Think there will be many MVC fans start to pull away from supporting WSU because there a more than a handful of WSU posters that are downright insulting to other Valley teams.

Go read the Shocker forum sometime, and you'll understand how a pretty good chunk of their base of fans despise the Valley. And of course on WSU's fan forum they also called MVC Fans a trashy place. Gee, I wonder why that is....maybe all the really awful WSU posters on here that have nothing better to do than take potshots at other MVC programs.

Cue now for the regular list of WSU posters that seem to be anti-Valley.

ROCK IT MVC....EXCEPT FOR WSU!!

If you want the Valley, and by proxy your team, to hold on to any remaining national relevance, rooting against WSU probably isn't in your best interest. That isn't to say that ALL of the national relevance is tied to WSU, but currently a lot of it is.

Interesting that this was brought up in an Indiana State thread, where a multitude of WSU fans have had nothing but good things to say about INSU's great road win. I would be willing to bet that most Sycamore fans are cheering pretty hard for the Shox this non-conference.
