Still plenty of time to go, though, if anyone still wants to challenge for the title.

Funnily enough, jackwagon raped my cat. Accusation = truth. (If the cops come by to investigate my claim, I'll have to get a cat.)

I think Redbird23 would give him a good match.

In response to a potential Van Vleet injury.. "oh well".

IDK. Maybe if they were at WSU they would of gotten the same hush hush treatment Carl Hall got. Not a ISUR or WSU hater, but don't throw stones when your players rape people!

Wow, really? You pretty much crossed every line in the book on that comment.

I'd like to know who your Valley team is so I can throw some ammo out at you. I seem to remember you being an Indiana State fan, but it seems like you're trying to hide around it?

It's easy to lob garbage without having a team to defend in return.

no way is he an Indiana State fan

Game went about how I expected. Wish this site was more about basketball.

Nice exchange by both Marshall and Muller at the end. Marshall could have shown a little more class and set an example for a majority of the fanbase, instead he blows right by. It's no wonder a lot of the fans act the same as he does towards ISU. Then he's at it again and implies that we purposefully dove a Van Vleets legs. Really......Can you at least wait to see a replay before making a dumb statement like that. He just panders to the fanbase and tries to add fuel to the fire.

It's a good thing you guys are good, because no one would put up with his classlessness otherwise.

You guys look hella good though despite having a jackwagon coach. Wichita is a really tough place to play a game. You guys are every bit the #6 ranking you are given. Just too bad about that coach thing.

Post your thoughts!

Here's mine:

Lynch has some size and good foot work. I think he'll be good once he gets some seasoning.

Lots of new faces in Normal, but ISU red still has the smallest, skinniest guards in the conference. They were quick and athletic, but I didn't see much else. I'm guessing the defense had something to do with that.

Not a Lofton fan. He took out of rhythm shots and constantly forced the issue.

From about the 10 minute mark in the first half on, the zone was totally ineffective. At about the same time, the Redbirds offense quit moving the ball and everyone started playing one-on-one.

The Shockers were bigger, stronger and executed better than ISU, but the birds do show some promise.

Good luck the rest of the way!

You are way off base, Jack. Way off.

I love our coach and wouldn't trade him for anyone in the nation. I think you would say the same if he was yours.

WSU looked very good and seasoned. It's also been made to be an extremely hard place for any team to come in and play. I thought the redbirds got a lot of good looks in the first half and they simply weren't falling. Once we were down to a superior team, it seemed like we got flustered in the 2nd half and the lack of experience really showed. Our lack of size as well. I think once we add a little more height and depth we will be in a better spot next year.

No doubt. There are lots of good coaches who are jerks. He just feeds the flames for a lot of hatred that WSU fans have towards ISU and it's unnecessary. I remember not so long ago, maybe 5 years ago, both WSU and ISU's fan bases got along really well.
