The Shox dominate the Vallet by FOUR games. Repeat FOUR games. Do I need to repeat? Additionally they won the entire league by an average of 20 points. Do I need to repeat 20?

Everyone agrees that the Shox have the best team. I just wish we had the best players. If Mock, Ballentine, Bean, or Washpun were on our team, they wouldn't have averaged 35 minutes and therefore wouldn't have their averages. They wouldn't have been in our top two players.

As a case in point, Grady at CSU averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds and he was the Horizon POY. At Wichita State, he averages 7 points and 4 rebounds. Fred and Ron still are our best two players and if any of these other players were on the Shox, they would be our 3rd best player at beat.

You should be tarred and feathered for that irresponsible logic. Stop making sense. There are some on here that dont have that genetic logic isoenzyme, therefore have no idea how to conceptualize your point.

FVV is player of year guys....BUT POY is an award for player not team

WSU wins team of year with those 2, but also a great supporting group. However, the POY can win it from outside the top team. This is a general statement about that actual award.

I've tried logic with you but you do not recognize it. Here is my final logical statement.

We dominated the league by four games and averaged 20 point wins during that dominant winning journey. Obviously, not one fan in the Valley save the Shockers care about LOGIC. The only two players that we put into the POY conversation during this dominating journey are FVV and Baker. I'm surprised that usual logical people such as glm don't speak up. My last gasp is a quote attributed to Andrew Jackson and many others after him.

TO THE VICTORS BELONGS THE SPOILS.

Again player of year means player.....not team of the year. Wtf, where did you go to school???? If I averaged 50 ppg yet finished 4 games back, I could win poy.

Ben Simmons may win player of year in SEC and his team sucks

Mock would play 20 minutes per game for WSU. His averages would be cut in half. That is what happens when you have a very good team.

Not so fast my friend. Mock on WSU would probably be utilized better and would be more active with fewer minutes. I'd say there wouldn't be much of a drop off in points and RB would be in the 10-11 range.

I am not sure you can give it to Mock when he isn't even the focal point of his team. More of an afterthought. He gets his points and other stats, but they really don't come as part of the system but as other. I actually think he would fare better in a UNI or WSU system as his skill-set would be more utilized. Playing time might be the only differential-for UNI he would most certainly have played more and been used more, for WSU, probably not as much but to a maximum effectiveness.

Gregg doesn't waste his time on players like Simmons because they don't know how to share the ball and play team basketball. His reputation precedes him and he doesn't make others around him better. He wants the ball all the time.

Besides to compare Simmons with Mock is laughable. Apples and oranges.

No non-WSU player to my knowledge averaged 50 ppg this year. FVV made everybody better in addition to his own stats. Put Lee as our PG, or any other MVC PG for that matter, and a whole different dynamic happens. Maybe Baker has to average 50 ppg in that situation for WSU to be successful, who knows. FVV is your POY, MVP, etc...
