Certainly. If it was any other way, Roberts would be having a crowd of 10,000 tomorrow night for MD-ES.

Secondly, UNC is BIG but they're not that damned good. Our players came out with stars in their eyes and looked intimidated from the beginning. Can't help it, but that pisses me off......hell 2 years ago when UNC was the best team in the country, we competed better down there. Granted we had leadership (Ely, Holsinger) and toughness that year. With all that being said, we got open looks and couldn't knock any of 'em down. Hopf was without a doubt the lone bright spot, the kid is tough, playing on one leg and didnt back down a bit when he was in there. The other positive is now the stadium will go back to being 1/3 full and the concession lines and parking won't be nearly as bad. :Bam:

#13 UNC beat #4 Duke tonight to clinch the ACC regular season crown. Is UNC good yet?

Damn, Ace Dad, I think you beat my wife's record of waiting 3 months to throw something stupid I said back in my face.....you took it to a new level and went 4 months back :P Seriously though, yes they are good and they were always very talented, BUT they weren't playing anywhere near this good back when we played them and you have to admit that. UNC's season turned around when they found a pg to run that team.

76, I was sitting in my St Louis hotel room watching the Duke-UNC game and remembered that someone had commented that NC was not as strong as they usually are. I agree with you that both the Tar Heels and Aces are not the same teams, now. Your assessment was fair ;)

I was thinking the same thing. I'm glad we played UNC in December and not March!
