He will have plenty of options. These guys are just destroying their college days. Except for the few that make it in the NBA, what does it get them?

Serious question: Any chance Robbins would come back to Drake and if so would Drake welcome him back?

I have no idea what Devries would think, but I think Robbins thinks he is too good for Drake.

That's too bad. They really invested in him and stuck their necks out for him and got totally hosed for all their efforts. Most uncool. I'm glad Drake showed him this year but the Yesufu loss really hurts in my mind even more than I thought the loss of Robbins would hurt (which at the time was a lot I had Drake as a PIG team without him. Shows what I know.) For the record I don't have Drake as a PIG team without Yesufu because I know how good their starting 5 truly is now and they brought in a big recruit in DeVries's son.

Drake won't struggle though. Even without Yesufu, Drake is arguably the preseason favorite with their existing roster and you're throwing in a 4 star recruit with them. I think that they'll actually be better next season than this previous one.

Updated: Yesufu to Kansas.

I can say, I was not expecting that. Can anyone think of any other MVC players that transferred to a Blue Blood?

He wasn't really a transfer, but Dajuan Harris (who is currently the starting point guard at KU) was signed to play at Missouri State. He played with Isiaih Mosely and Jamonta Black in high school. Word was that we couldn't get him qualified academically at Missouri State, so he reclassified and was going to do the prep school route. He went and played another Summer of AAU ball and killed it. KU swoops in and magically got him qualified for school there. In two months he went from a 2 star Missouri State signee who couldn't get in to school to a 4 star recruit admitted to Kansas. It still kind of chaps my ass a little.

Aaron Cook played in a national title game the other night. Depends on how you classify the Zags.

I suppose its subjective. We've had a ton of transfers go on to play at high majors out of the MVC.

When I was thinking Blue Bloods, I was thinking quite literally the teams that are Blue. Your Kentucky, Duke, UNC, and Kansas.

Zags may be considered a new age blue blood. When I proposed the same question on RedbirdFan, someone mentioned Nick Zeisloft transferred from ILST to Indiana. In my lifetime, Gonzaga has been more relevant nationally than Indiana.

Yesufu to Kansas. So basically mid-majors are just a developmental league for the big boys. Stupid.
