I don't disagree that the two main complainers overran this discussion, but calling them "assholes" doesn't elevate your status. (I'm part of the problem, so there's that.)

As it was, one guy had an opinion and another disagreed. Had this been a civil world, it probably would have ended there. Alas, most of this stuff dies of its own accord anyway.

More related is that the Aces lost an important conference game at home, one that they could/should have won unless you believe that the Treestumps came close to blowing a game they normally win easily. The game exposed the Aces as having a sorely thin bench, which is something of importance as the final 15 MVC games approach.

But watching InState at Valpo, it's a better team than we believed they would be, losing a wild game against a Valpo team that looks a lot better in the standings than they really are.

Not sure if that analysis means I am an "asshole," but I haven't been too active on this board. So I'd hope for better treatment.

Bradley isn't exactly blowing people out, but they do seem to make winning plays in crunch time. Duke Deen may not end up with the best stats in the league, but he's been money in crunch time.

Game-winners at Indiana State in OT with :03 left and at UIC - a 3pt make with :02 left, plus two free throws in the second OT with :11 left to ice the win versus Valpo.

Murray State holds serve at home with an 11-point win over Valpo where they shot 24 FTs (made 75%)...Valpo shot three (made two).

You mean UIC with a legendary choke job and then Coach Ehsan not doubling Deen? I'd rather somebody else take the last shot...just deny Duke or get the ball out of his hands! Just terrible down the stretch!

UE went almost 14 minutes without a field goal from the last few minutes of first half to midway through 2nd half. Didn't score any points in second half until a FT about 9 minutes in.

It is really hard to pin that on anything other than preparation and adjustment. That could have been a lot worse than it was.
