I hate to say it, but I love watching WSU miss out on another opportunity to win an MVC title. Outside of 2006, these guys sure haven't lived up to the hype that their fan base (at least the message board fans) brings.

I've literally never seen a more impressive display of shooting than the one Kyles put on at the end.

I guess you missed the same game where Leonard single handedly won the game for you all. The problem with Kyles is he either makes them all or misses them all, there's no in between. Today was not our day as only 2 or 3 guys showed up to play. We need them all if we're going to make a run next weekend.

Nope. Didn't miss that part. Leonard was great, and his shot will live in lore, but Kyles was making 23 footers, off balance and body contorted.

Leonard didn't single handedly win the game for us, it was a team effort, like it almost always is for. Ricks with 8 assists and no turnovers. Weems with a near double-double and a huge block. Creekmore being the warrior that he is (except for free throws of course). Mallet being the guy who makes plays, and next thing you know, he leads your team in scoring (like yesterday, where he led us in scoring, not Leonard), or he gets an amazing offensive rebound over two taller guys and a stick back. Or a huge and 1 after Wichita had just sank a three to make it closer again. Or perhaps Scheer for his effort, defense, and timely plays (like his and 1 on a break that got everyone jacked).

Yes sir, the Bears are a team effort.

You realize we were the home team, right?

What's your point? It's not like the (WSU) shirts were being sold at our bookstore. They were cheapo freebies given away to people on the alumni bus.

My point is that the home team can have whatever shirts they want. It's not a tit for tat deal...one's a home team, and that is the way it is on the road. The visitors wearing that generally won't be well received is all.
I also complimented your fanbase...it's ok to accept a compliment.

Where did you get this piece of wisdom? Is it written down somewhere -- you know, some kind of Robert's Rules for behavior on road games? I say if the opposing fans have the courage to walk into the lion's den with some adverse saying on their shirts -- more power to them. And by the way, just what is so offensive about "Bear Hunting" anyway? Unlike your shirt, there was no slam against your city or your school or your team.
