UConn is the flagship of the AAC (or at least one of them), and their revenue has fallen off so much that they are talking about cutting programs. A line of note is the loss of TV revenue to the tune of $6.8 million (currently $1M down from $7.8M)

A better comparison would be us next year to USF this year. We lost Shamet at the end of March, Lomax in mid-March, Reaves in mid-April, and up until mid-November we thought we’d have Teddy Allen. Three of those players would be the best PG on this year’s team and Gregg’s teams are completely lost without a PG. The other averaged 7 PPG as a freshman in the Big XII. A lot of things had to go wrong for us to be this bad.

We've fallen so hard that we are only SLIGHTLY BETTER than every single team in the MVC per the NCAA NET instead of way better. So rough.

Yea we suck this year. We suck worse than we have in 10 years .... yet are still better than every team in the Valley. Definitely should be something you are laughing at. It's good to laugh at yourself.
