Very solid possibly winnable tournament for the Ramblers!

The reason the MVC is stuck @10 is because neither the public nor the private universities want to let the other have the upper hand in voting. If they were to allow MSU as 11 the privates then loses their ability to negate the publics position on any matter. 6-5 is a majority.

Just an opinion I could be mistaken ...

I agree with this and even as a fan of a private school it bugs me. I wish Belmont would join up so that we could maintain that balance and be an even better league.

If it's that big of an issue, then I seriously wish the public schools and private schools would go their own separate ways. I actually think you are right by the way.

I read other boards once in a while and every school's fan bases seem to have a fantasy conference wishlist. The common theme is that public schools' fans want to play in a league with other public schools, while private schools' fans want to play with other private schools. And really it makes sense.

UNI has no desire to play in your wet dream dog s*** conference with the Dakotas. We left that league 40 years ago and improved our stock greatly. The Valley's balance is great where it is.

Expansion is dead, there's NO chance we're bringing in another mouth to feed anytime soon.
