Tytan Anderson with an end to end layup at the buzzer to beat Illinois State in Normal. Great game.

Game UNI had to have and got it done.

Heavy favorites in the next 3.

Nothing new. The Aces have come out of the locker room like that five or six times this season.

I feel OK about lots of aspects of this year's Aces team, but offensive consistency is not one of them. I feel a lot better about defense than I did a month ago.

I laughed out loud at Ryan Pedon. He took not one, but two timeouts to "set his defense" and see what UNI was going to run only to let Tytan Anderson catch the ball with a full head of steam and go the full length of the court for an uncontested layup.

Way to draw something up there Coach.

I felt pretty good about the coaching matchup in that moment...

SIU is still terrible, and may very well still finish last… but we won’t be doing an Evansville. Finally got a conference win tonight lol

Steve Prohm has Murray St rolling. That’s 3 strong wins for them in a row. They’re up to 116 in NET. We actually have 7 teams in the Q2 range now.

Those Racers come to the Chi where UIC has now lost 2 of 3 and our NET is now down to 121. We can't afford a win one-lose one approach going forward. It'll be interesting!

In college basketball, a coaching staff must be able to get more out of his players. More than even the players thought they had in them. See McCollum in his years before Drake and this year at Drake.

This isn't happening at Evansville, and hasn't happened for several years. There isn't a single player on this team that is overachieving on the court in 2024-2025. It is the complete opposite. They are usually playing way below their level of ability.

In my opinion, I actually thought the Hafher(sp) young man was playing better at Evansville than when he was at Western Illinois.
