Painter to Missouri???

So there are rumors Matt Painter is looking to go to Mizzou. I only mention this because it could affect the Valley. And clearly if the Purdue job does open up do you think Martin is regretting taking the Tennessee job?

Obviously just rumors and the articles I read say it isn't a done deal yet. Would there be coaches in the MVC that would be candidates? Marshall, Jacobson, Lansing?

Hell maybe they would take another SIU guy like Lowery

Supposedly Painter and the AD don't get along real well. Cuonzo and Painter are real tight. I'm guessing that they may share similar feelings about the AD, but you never know.

This is complete speculation, but I would be surprised if Painter left Purdue. I kind of assumed that Painter would have let Cuonzo know if he was leaving to give him a shot at the Purdue job. Seems right to me that Cuonzo took Tenn because he knew Purdue would not be available. Again, no facts, I just figured that made sense.

Laughable. Painter won't go to Missou. In the last 24 hours I've heard that they have really put the heat on Kim Anderson at Warrensburg. He is the lead candidate at Missou not Painter.

Doubtful, very very doubtful...Lansing wasn't even in West Laffy yesterday and Painter is in columbia. that Rumor was started by a purdue fan.

That is why Mizzou is in Florida talking to Painter...
