Rumors on ESPN Insiders:
"UPDATE: Purdue coach Matt Painter filled one of the two openings on his staff on Tuesday, hiring Butler assistant Micah Shrewsberry.
Painter described Shrewsberry as "hard-working, energetic and passionate" in a statement released by Purdue. Shrewsberry, 34, worked primarily as a recruiter while with the Bulldogs and figures to be a tremendous asset to Painter in the same capacity."
Apparently Painter had two vacancies on his staff.
"The resignation of Purdue assistant coach Mike Jackson leaves Boilermakers coach Matt Painter with two vacancies on his staff. Painter already lost associate head coach Paul Lusk, who took the head coaching job at Missouri State, this offseason."
